IP개요 This paper presents a low-power active-based
peak detector circuit for detecting R-wave in
Electrocardiography (ECG). The proposed design uses a
two-stage op-amp circuit to increase gain, bandwidth and to
attenuate the noises obtained during acquisition of ECG
signal from the electrodes. The two-stage op-amp circuit is
designed using negative polarity technique with the
amplification factor of 10 to achieve high gain and CMRR
with low noise and less power consumption for biomedical
applications. The design is implemented at 0.18μm CMOS
technology using Cadence Spectre tool at the supply voltage
of 0.9V. The proposed work would extend by designing the
Read Only memory (ROM) and Digital to Analog circuit
(DAC) circuit to store multiple ECG signal and frequency
detection circuit to analyze heart beat variability. The main
focus of this work is to design the timing adjustment circuit
for irregular heartbeat.
