IP개요 | Wireless sensing systems have been an essential technique in a broad scope of applications, especially in biomedical circuits and IoT systems. This paper proposed a wireless power receiver with energy backup and low-power back telemetry for implantable devices such as smart lens. The proposed low-power system adaptively controls its operation mode, either power backup or wireless sensing, to operate with a limited amount of wireless power. We also propose an offset-control function in the comparator to compensate for both turn-on and turn-off delays, improving the power efficiency. In addition, the system adopts low-power back telemetry circuit with current reuse technique, which induces instantaneous current changes for load modulation, while reused the current to supply the system, improving overall system efficiency. The proposed system will be fabricated in a TSMC 180nm standard CMOS process with 1.8V/5V supply voltage and operate at 13.56MHz carrier frequency. |
