This paper presents an efficient wireless powered system (WPS) for powering implantable devices, including charging a battery. To enhance the performance of WPS, we have utilized an adoptively-controlled active rectifier matrix (AARM) that also helps to regulate the output voltage depending on the reference voltage. The digital offset compensation circuit adjusts both turn-on and turn-off times to compensate for corresponding delays of the comparator when it turns on and off. The proposed system is designed by a 0.18 μm high-voltage Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS(BCD) process, and the simulation results show that the proposed WPR can achieve 87% efficiency while delivering 0.89 mW of output power. |
