IP개요 | The demands of applying AI processors to embedded system are increasing in various applications and the AI processors are required to achieve high computing performance in resourceconstrained environment. In this work, a design of stochastic computing unit for embedded AI processor is proposed. Stochastic computing unit provides general operations for data pre-processing while offering simple data path and circuit. We design the proposed processor with Verilog HDL and verify by simulation. The designed processor is implemented on field programmable gate array (FPGA). We will fabricate the stochastic AI processor with Samsung 28nm RFCMOS 1-poly 8-metal technology. The designed processor operates in 1.2V, 50MHz frequency and the circuit is digital type. |
