In this paper, we propose the communication processor for In-Vehicle Network (IVN). Recently, in accordance with increasing of the function of Electronic Controller Unit (ECU), efficient and safe IVN is required. In the designed processor, we adopt the Control Area Network Flexible Data rate (CAN-FD) and Local Interconnect Network (LIN) controller that support safety and reliability in the network of ECUs. By using the CAN-FD controller and the LIN controller, both protocols enable multiple ECUs to communicate in low-level electrical wiring. CAN-FD and LIN is controlled by the Cortex-M0 processor through the advanced high performance bus (AHB). The proposed controller operates in 3.3 V/ 50 MHz frequency and circuit is digital type. |
