In this design proposal, we present a low-noise transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with a parasitic capacitance compensation circuit for use in nanopore-based DNA sequencing. The TIA is intended to serve as the head stage of the monitoring system during DNA sequencing, where low-noise performance is critical for accurately measuring the minute ionic current signals generated by the nanopore. In this proposal, we aim to fabricate a TIA architecture that compensates for the parasitic capacitance generated by the nanopore—one of the factors limiting the bandwidth—using a 180 nm BCDMOS process. |
