IP개요 A low power and low noise 16-bit capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC) for capacitive sensors is presented. This capacitive sensor interface circuit is applied capacitance-domain 8-bit successive approximation register (SAR) technique and charge-domain 8-bit R-2R digital to analog converter (DAC) for low power consumption and simple structure. The proposed circuit can measure capacitance range up to 29.4 pF. The resolution of the sensing capacitance is 0.449 fF. The proposed circuit uses the CDS technique to reduce the adverse effects such as common-mode interference and flicker (1/f) noise.
