Here we present a low power instrumentation amplifier for biomedical application. The system consists of a chopper amplifier for reducing 1/f noise. New techniques have been implemented to overcome limitations of chopper amplifier such as increasing input impedance to sub-GΩ, reduce ripple rejection to 40dB, realizing very low frequency high-pass filter for DC electrode attenuation to sub-mHz. Also we have a common-mode cancelation that the amplifier can tolerate to 650-mVPP Common mode artifacts. |
