This Circuit presents a single-stage multiple-phase switched capacitor converter for N-step TENG energy harvesting interface. The converter achieves multiple-step soft charging for all capacitors while providing a high voltage conversion ratio with the existing advantages of single flying capacitor converter family. The energy harvesting interface with the N-step energy harvesting strategy utilizing the presented converter enables single stage power conversion without super off-chip rectifier capacitor. Thanks to the combination of the presented converter and the harvesting strategy, the presented interface achieves a comparative peak end-to-end power efficiency of 66% and a FoM of 5.9x while supporting a wide operation range of TENG devices by using only one off-chip capacitor |
