The proposed design of a hybrid charger ingeniously amalgamates the merits of the 2:1 SC converter and the SC hybrid buck converter. This sophisticated fusion results in an efficient dual-output charging solution for two-cell batteries while simultaneously catering to the system's voltage supply needs. Additionally, a novel input current (IIN) limiting mechanism, predicated on pulse-width modulation (PWM) control, is introduced. This innovation effectively constrains IIN within the SC-based charger architecture, ensuring a controlled, efficient, and optimized fast charging process. |
