IP개요 | in this paper presents an energy harvesting IC and range search type zero-current detection (ZCD) boost converter for IoT SoC module operation. The proposed boost converter implemented in 0.18um DBHitek BCDMOS process. In the conventional ZCD structure, ZCD circuit operate later than zero current point to turn off PMOS. On the other hand, proposed automatic range search type ZCD structure can operate faster than zero current point to turn off PMOS. Range search type ZCD design improves power loss because of reverse current. The proposed boost converter input voltage range from 1.5V to 1.8V, the output voltage is set to 3.3V. |
