We present a CAN FD Controller with SPI interface to communicate with in-vehicle processor. This CAN FD Controller. Increasing of connections between many electronic devices with automobile, large data length and real time communication requested in in-vehicle network communication. Controller Area Network with Flexible Data-Rate (CAN FD) is network communication system that has high bit rates and extended data frame length with high reliability. The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is commonly using interface between processor and peripherals communication. Our CAN FD controller communicate with in-vehicle processor through SPI interface. We fabricate the CAN FD controller with Magnachip/Hynix 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The CAN FD controller operates in 3.3 V/ 100 MHz frequency and circuit is digital type. |
