This paper presents a new methodology for harvesting energy and wireless power transfer system (WLPTS). A dual stage boost converter (DSBC) for thermoelectric generators (TEG) or PV energy harvesting from 130nm CMOS process can extract energy from low voltage sources. The output voltage of DSBC is controlled by using two different mechanisms according to power demand of output and supply voltage of input. Secondary side is implanted device which consists active rectifier and biomedical functional circuit. initially 14 dBm, 915 MHz RF signal is used as kick start. |
