We present a low power ASIC for bio-impedance spectroscopy which perform bio-impedance measurement at several frequencies simultaneously. The system consists of a reference current source ? BMR, wideband stimulation current source, a low-noise high-bandwidth instrument amplifier, and a low power 10b SAR ADC. The BMR generates a reference current independent of the supply voltage and temperature, the stimulation current source with MLS sequence injecting the tissue, the amplifier senses the response voltage and the output of the amplifier is sampled and converted to digital code by ADC. An FPGA is required for post-processing. |
