IP개요 This paper presents a current-steering digital to analog
converter (DAC) in 65nm CMOS process which is used for the
input of Impedance Spectroscopy system. Because, one chip design
is useful for application, have to place DAC and IS system
together. The DAC is operated in 6-bit unary, 6-bit binary-weighted
mode. Dynamic element matching (DEM) may be used to reduce
the influence of current mismatches and output delay mismatches
of DFFs. It achieves >80 dB SFDR at 1GHz from DC to Nyquist.
For a complete and faster operation of DAC in a chip, other digital
circuits have to be added. They are direct digital frequency
synthesizer (DDFS) and binary to thermometer decoder. This
mixed signal circuit has 1.2V and 1.8V supply. The former is for
switching and digital circuits, and the latter is for cascoded devices
and other small digital circuit.
