Supplying power to the biomedical devices like pacemakers, arti?cial hearts, function electrical stimulators, monitoring devices, retinal stimulator etc for long term operation is a challenging task. A major issue involved in the wireless power supply is the power ?ow regulation with proper ef?ciency. So a power regulating unit is designed in this project which includes band-gap reference circuit and regulation to power up the implant with a stable dc voltage. The proposed circuits are analog domain circuits. It is targeted to design a low quiescent current regulator. The gain of the regulator must be high. Stability is a primary concern for the voltage regulator. A good load and line regulation based low dropout regulator will be designed in this research work. |
